Fruits appear already 35-40 days from the first shoots, without requiring pollination, so the Murashka cucumber variety can be grown in spring in heated greenhouses. The plant is indeterminate, grows medium in size, with a small number of branches, which, on the contrary, are determinant, with a predominance of female flowers.
Cucumber bushes of the hybrid variety Murashka have an abundant amount of smooth, medium-sized leaves. On average, 2-4 ovaries of future cucumbers are formed in the bosom, barren flowers are absent. A pleasant property of this variety of cucumbers is long-term fruiting, so on the bushes you can simultaneously observe both flowers and ripe fruits.
This hybrid variety of Goosebumps cucumbers is resistant to most common diseases - powdery mildew and cladosporiosis. You should beware of root rot and downy mildew. Growing
In order for the crop to please with its result, it is necessary to study the description of the variety and the secrets of cultivation. To sow the seeds of this variety of cucumbers directly into the soil, it is necessary to wait until the soil warms up completely and to a depth of at least 12-15 cm. Before planting, the seeds should be treated with potassium permanganate (5 grams per half a liter of water) and soaked for 12-20 hours. After all the manipulations, in order for the sprouts to hatch, it is necessary to put the cucumber seeds on a wet cloth and maintain the moisture at a temperature of at least 25 ° C. As soon as the seeds of the Goosebumps cucumber hatch, they should be moved into prepared soil, consisting of equal parts of turf and humus. It is necessary to add a glass of wood ash to a bucket of such a mixture and fill in separate cups for 2/3 of the total volume, make sure that there are drainage holes.
Cucumber seed should be placed to a depth of 1 cm in a well-moistened mixture. Put in a large box, on the bottom of which you need to pour a small layer of earth, cover with glass or film and put in a sunny place.
Goosebump cucumber seeds germinate slowly, do not worry if they have not appeared within 2-2.5 weeks.At the first manifestations of sprouts, it is worth removing the film and lowering the temperature in order to avoid stretching the stem.
Top dressing of seedlings of cucumbers of the Murashka variety can be done with a mullein (dilute 1 liter with 10 liters of water, after which 1 liter of the resulting solution is again poured into 10 liters of water).
When two true leaves appear, you can plant cucumber seedlings in open ground, preferably in late April, early May. 1 m2 2-3 bushes are planted, the result is 10-12 kg of the finished product. The soil for cucumbers of the hybrid variety Murashka should be well fertilized, it is advisable to distribute 2 buckets of humus per 1 m in the fall2... Potatoes and various aromatic herbs, with the exception of dill, should not be nearby. You should choose the south side for the full flow of sunlight to the cucumber bush.
When sowing in greenhouses, the principle of seed preparation of this hybrid variety Murashka F1 remains the same, but before the onset of a stable high temperature, it is necessary to maintain heat and humidity at the proper level. When applied in a square-nested way (in a checkerboard pattern), holes should be made at a distance of 70 cm, and 8-10 cucumber seeds should be put in each hole, after fertilizing it. After germination, no more than three bushes of this variety are left, with the help of a support, they are evenly distributed so as not to form a large density. If sowing is carried out in rows, the seeds of Murashka cucumbers are placed in the soil at a depth of 3-4 cm, at a distance of 5 cm from each other, for further possibility of removing weak shoots. You need to thin out regularly until 5 cucumber bushes remain for 1 running meter. In order for the harvest of the hybrid variety Murashka to surprise with the abundance of fruits, it is necessary to pinch the main stem of the bush after 6 leaves, and the side stems at a distance of 40 cm from the trunk.
The temperature during active growth should not drop below 25 ° C, otherwise the roots of the plant may suffer and the bush will begin to ache. The amount of water is at the rate of 20 liters per 1 m2to maintain the required humidity. During flowering, it is worth watering carefully to avoid moisture getting on the bush. Fertilize at least three times:
- Fertilization with manure, in the same ratio as for seedlings. The color should be like a weak tea.
