This phenomenon is called heterosis.
The resulting plants, in addition to the name, must be given the letter F and the number 1, which means that this is the first hybrid generation.
Now in Russia more than 1000 varieties and hybrids of tomatoes have been zoned. Therefore, choosing the right one is not easy. Abroad, they have long since switched to the cultivation of hybrid tomatoes. Chinese and Dutch hybrids are especially popular. One of the representatives of the Dutch line is the heterotic hybrid tomato Classic f1.
It appeared in the State Register of Breeding Achievements in 2005 and is zoned for cultivation in the North Caucasian region, which, in addition to the Caucasian republics, includes the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, as well as the Crimea.
Description and characteristics of tomato Classic f1
The originator of the tomato Classic f1 is Nunhems, located in Holland. Many firms bought the technology for creating this tomato hybrid from the originator, so there are Chinese-made seeds for sale and created by Russian seed companies.
This tomato can be considered early, since ripening begins as early as 95 days after germination. In unfavorable weather, this period can extend up to 105 days.
This tomato sets fruit well even in the heat and can produce up to 4 kg from each plant, but subject to all the rules of agricultural technology.
According to the strength of growth, it belongs to determinant tomatoes, it grows to a maximum of 1 m. The bush is compact, the first flower cluster is located above 6 or 7 leaves, then they go almost one by one through 1 or 2 leaves. In the southern regions, the tomato is formed into 4 stems; it is not recommended to leave more than 3 stems in the middle lane.

The harvest gives back together. Small fruits - from 80 to 110g, but very dense and fleshy. They are homogeneous, have a bright red color and a beautiful elongated plum-like shape.
Tomato Classic f1 is not affected by nematodes, does not suffer from fusarium and verticillary wilting, as well as bacterial spotting.

Growing features
- An important condition is the correct preparation of seeds for sowing, if they have not been processed by the manufacturer, about which there must be an inscription on the seed bag.
