Breeding history
The variety was bred in France in 1999. From the collection of well-known breeders Delbar. Refers to hybrid tea varieties, the flower is grown for cutting.

The French variety "Red Intuition", in addition to the unusual color of flowers, for which many growers like it, has other advantages:

Reproduction methods
The Red Intuish variety, like all hybrid tea roses, can be propagated by cuttings, dividing the bush, and grafting. It is best to cut roses in early spring or mid-autumn, when the air temperature and soil moisture are most favorable. In summer, cuttings may not take root. They should be about 1 cm thick, at least 15 cm long. The lower leaves are removed 2/3 of the length, the upper ones are cut in halves to reduce evaporation.
The cuttings are placed in a jar filled with water with the addition of a root stimulator. When white roots appear on them, they are planted in light, fertile soil for further rooting. Or the cuttings are planted immediately on a separate bed in a substrate consisting of peat and sand. They are buried 2/3 of their length in the soil, watered, the ground is covered with foil or placed over each glass jar to create a greenhouse effect. At first, the cuttings of roses are watered with water, to which you can add a little root stimulator. You don't need to feed anything. It is important to ensure that the soil always remains moist and does not dry out. The cuttings should take root in about 1-1.5 months.After that, you can transplant them to a permanent place or do it six months later, in spring or autumn.
By dividing the bush, roses of this variety are also propagated on the eve of summer and winter - before the buds open or after all the foliage has fallen from them. They dig out the bush, divide it into several parts so that each one has roots and young shoots, and immediately transplanted to a new place. Water until rooting.

Growing and care

For the next seasons, the bushes are fertilized before flowering, at the very beginning of summer, and the second time in the fall. You can use any fertilizer, both mineral and organic, but organic is preferable. Water the roses so that the soil is moist, but not dry or soggy. The variety is drought-resistant, therefore, in the heat for some time, the bushes can do without watering, but during a prolonged drought, irrigation is necessary.
After watering, the soil must be loosened to allow air to penetrate the roots of the plants.
It is necessary to cut Red Intuition roses in the spring, before the buds open. After flowering, cut off all the shoots where there were buds. In autumn, loosen the soil near the bushes and lay on it a mulching layer of peat, humus, fallen leaves, straw, hay, etc. Mulch should cover not only the soil, but also the lower parts of the shoots. Additionally, you can wrap the branches with agrofiber. In the spring, with the onset of warmth, the shelter must be removed.
